OUR CLINIC

1. Every room has an above and beyond medical grade HEPA air filter. The IQair HealthPro Series is a hyperHEPA air filtration system proven and certified to filter at least 99.5% of all particles down to 0.003 microns – which are extremely small particles (viruses size). COVID-19 has been estimated to be between the size 0.005 microns - 0.14 microns which means that it will not get through this filter. This is not the case with most HEPA filters on the market which filter about 37% of particles including pollen and other larger size particles but not viruses!

2. Clean and sanitized cotton gown provided for each patient.  

3. Clean and sanitized cotton sheet on treatment table and protective head rest provided for each patient.

4. Clean and sanitized towels are provided in bathroom for hand drying.

1. Acupuncture has sensation that comes along with your Qi / energy being stimulated. This is considered to be very good! Patients are often astounded at the different sensations and overall ease that they feel during and after treatment. Most people are so relaxed that they fall asleep during treatment. Common sensations during acupuncture range from instant relief, to a sensation of water flowing, to an electric flow or dull ache as if a muscle is tired. The doctors will accommodate the treatment to your sensitivity and comfort!

2. German made Biofeedback device testing is painless though there is some pressure where the device makes contact with your pinkie.

3. Micro-Needling - We use Lidocaine with the micro-needling device. The device we use in office is one of the top offered on market and moves at a powerful 9000 RPM. Generally people describe the feeling as if one was using a fine sandpaper across the skin. For some it is painless but for others there is some discomfort during the treatment. The doctors will accommodate the treatment to your sensitivity and comfort! If the sensation is too strong, a nano-needle head instead of the normal micro-needling head will be used. All micro-needling and nano-needling heads are single use.

4. The smallest facial needles are used with Cosmetic Acupuncture and are usually well tolerated and often painless. The doctor will tailor treatment per your sensitivity and comfort.

Eating and drinking advice

1. In order for your treatment to be as effective as possible we suggest making sure you are hydrated and satiated. If you eat right before a treatment your body is expending a lot of energy on digestion. If you have not eaten for a long time there is more chance that you might become light headed after treatment. For these two reasons it is optimal to have drank water and eaten a light meal between 1-2 hours before your appointment.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit robs a patient on the wait list the opportunity to grab that spot and also disrespects the time of our Doctors and other practitioners.

For all cancellations and changes, we require a phone call to the office. If no one is available to answer the phone, please leave a message, the date / time stamp on the call will be valid for cancellation.

New patients:
Due to the length of the reserved appointment time, we require a $50 non-refundable fee in order to reserve your appointment.

If an appointment is changed or cancelled with no less than 72 hours notice, only the $50 non-refundable fee is collected.

New patients who miss their appointment or cancel with less than 72 hours notice before a scheduled visit, will be charged the full amount of the appointment.

Returning patients:
If an appointment is changed or cancelled with no less than 24 hours notice before a scheduled appointment, no payment is required.

Patients who provide less than 24 hour cancellation or rescheduling notice or just don't show up, will be charged the full amount of the appointment.

We accept all Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) insurance.

For all other insurance we offer Super Bills for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
